In a word, this is a great camera.  If you’re not particular about the quality of the video you need to get, the Tachyon captures good enough footage.  Although, you wouldn’t get to see the footage until you come home and input it onto your computer because it doesn’t have an LCD where you can review the video you took.  If you come equipped with a 16GB memory card, you wouldn’t have to have any problem with continuously filming.  That is to say that you also have enough batteries with you.

On the side of mounting this Tachyon XC Micro Helmet Camera does fulfill its job as a helmet camera.  You’ve got no problems mounting it on your helmet and if ever there are issues with the camera being level, you can always use the 3M dual fastening strip lock.  As for mounting it on other types of applications like your baseball cap or even on your gun in paintball games, you have to put in a little bit of thought to make it sturdy and level.  Again, it wouldn’t really matter because you’re getting this camera at a very cheap price.
